so this is another one of those obsessively complicated cutout pieces i do - but i made it out of only white paper this time.

[about 5 inches by 3.5 inches, watercolor paper and glue.]

..and the title i took from a coldplay song. it's really good. [you should listen to it : P ]

Daily DeviationThe suggestor writes: White Shadows by ~hellofromthemoon made my jaw drop when I saw it. The amount of time and care that went into this is clearly evident when you look at the intricate details. The beak, the feathers, the eye...I can't imagine doing something so painstakingly exact, but she really pulled it off. The lighting is just as well-done; with it, she pulled subtle golds and blues and purples from clean white paper. Incredible. (Suggested by ~Aldebarambo and Featured by `Myana)

This is absolutely beautiful!
You should probably move it to

Sculpture and Crafts > Artisan Crafts >Other (I's day Origami, but they don't have the "Papercraft" section up yet)

at the very least though as it's made of paper and not with a 3D program :) I'd hate to see it taken down for a miscategorization.

Excellent job!

WOW. I don't even want to contemplate the long hours of planning and work that went into this! This is absolutely incredible... I could really see you doing a gallery show with these. They belong in expensive box frames with perfect lighting! tehe
