Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the theme here something about how modern people are so attatched (in this case literally, lol) to technology? Whatever it is, your use of color and shading/blending is incredible, as always!
One suggestion, however, which you may ignore at your pleasure: if you added some more blue to the wire running along the bottom right of that big bright yellow patch on his left shoulder, I think that it might carry that color through the piece a bit more fluidly. Otherwise, maybe a bit of a darker shade on the bottom blue wires behind his head? (also on the bottom left)
and no, i didn't intend any particular statement... well, at least not about modern people.
and thanks for the tip, i'll see if i can put in the blue. (i don't know how much more i can color over the yellow but i'll try) : ]
i learned about it at this science lecture i went to at the seattle center, with this really famous, funny, awesome scientist named michio kaku. (i got extra credit for science class for going to it) and also at this thing called "expanding your horizons". it was like a girls only thing through school and BCC to get more girls to go into science and math related jobs. (i didn't have to go to school that day!)
well so anyways, this guy was completely paralyzed, but his brian was fine, so these scientists put a chip in his brain and connected that chip to a wire that connected to a computer, so that he could think about moving the curser and he could click buttons that said YES or NO. and now he's gotten so good at it that he can play computer games. i think that's like the coolest thing ever!
ok, that's what i'm going to do if i ever get paralyzed...
actually, that would be really cool even if you weren't paralyzed.
hmm...
it really reminds me of uglies.
and this other book whose title i can't remember right now...
but it's like about having this thing like wikipedaia in your brain.
creepy, eh?
